Known simply to Philadelphia folks as "1820", 1820 Rittenhouse Condominium sits on the south side of Rittenhouse Square and is the first building back in the late 1980s to garner a sale price of $1M. A total of thirty-one homes. An overwhelming majority are 3217 sq ft in size and are divided up in between east and west units-simply mirror images of one another. The two penthouse units are NOT east, and west...one faces north and the other faces south with almost no square view. The building is known for being quiet and not very showy. All units have parking and of course a 24-hour doorman. I have sold a condo in the building, and the staff and management were first-rate. The condos at 1820 are pet friendly, and condos at 1820 do not come on the market all that often- and are known to be snapped up fairly quickly when they do hit the market for sale. All units offer an oversized front living room which overlooks Rittenhouse Square with floor to ceiling windows. I believe the 1820 condo building to be one of the most exclusive and most beautiful condo buildings in all of Center City Philadelphia. Perfection.
