I know this building well. I was the original listing agent, and I have sold every condo in the building at least once. The Clinton once belonged Jefferson or Pennsylvania Hospital but was sold off and converted to apartments and converted in the 1980s by the folks at Historic Landmarks for Living. The property was converted to condos by Pearl Properties in 2005. Most first floor units are bi-level into the lower level of the building and have patios. A total of six parking spots behind the building assigned to specific units. There is a rental parking garage across the street for everyone else. The Clinton condos are located close to Jefferson Medical, Whole Foods, and Super Fresh (which most buyers find to be a huge plus). With a total of 16 units. I think there are ten different floor plans, which adds a hint of diversity to the layout of the building and individual condos. The Clinton is not an elevator building. No pool, no gym- so condo fees are kept low, and I believe the owners run a pretty tight ship at 1023 Clinton. Owner occupancy ratios are high, and there are very few tenants in the building. The condo association does keep the interior of the building looking nice! These condos are almost interchangeable with Roberts Quay at 1035 Spruce in terms of location, pricing, layout, condo fee structure, condition. Value retention for the building over the years is pretty much above average!
