214 New St. Philadelphia, PA 19106
These loft like condos in Old City sit inside a nine unit building, and were rehabbed in the mid to late 1990's. You will appreciate the attention to detail that these Old City flats offer- from the ample sized elevator, to the exposed beamed ceilings. Extra storage is in the basement of this Center City loft building for all those who buy at 214 New Street. Parking can be purchased across the street at the Parkominium, which offers deeded parking spots in the heart of Old City Philadelphia. A unique piece of Philadelphia real estate in the fact that the building is representative of the old historic nature of the area- surrounded on one side by a Cobblestone side street (Bread Street) and just off the beaten path- The Lager House condos in the 19106 area of Old City Philadelphia offers unique units with great light, high ceilings, and unique floor plans.

I was the original listing agent for the building and have sold every condo in the building at least once (except the penthouse). The developer was Jud Davidson who was an architect who rehabbed the abandoned building into condominiums in 2004. Just two units per floor and all condos at 214 New St. are corner units. Known for their abundance of exposed brick and beamed ceilings as well as huge oversized windows. None of the units have parking- but the Parkominium is just around the corner (you could purchase or rent a parking spot). I always appreciated the fit and finish of the Lager House condos-I think the quality of the finishes are something you don't always find in this price segment. Each condominium has a storage unit in the basement- and most storage units are very, very large. This boutique styled condo building has very little common area (think- small lobby, no gym, pool, deck, etc) yet it is an elevator building. The Old City neighborhood has seen a ton of "infill" in the area since The Lager House condos were developed- so it is no longer the only condo building in the area. The building appears to be well kept and is professionally managed. I like the Lager House for the unique style of the condos and the floorplans (again, just two per floor). The penthouse at The Lager House Condos is SPECTACULAR. Covers the entire floor with very high ceilings and a private roof deck....a bi-level masterpiece!
