I have sold no less than a dozen condos in the building. Back in the early 1990’s the RTC was basically giving condos away in the area and I sold most of my listings in the building for $25,000. Needless to say- those condos have seen some of the greatest growth in value over the years. Values in the building (in my opinion) are hard to quantify IF you do not know the building. Not all square footage is created equal- and I think that adage is apt for 205-9 N. 4th St. condos. Condominiums at Old City Place are numbered oddly- F5 is the “F” styled condo floor plan on the 5th floor- all condos are numbered kinda’ ass-backwards. Sitting on the northeast corner of 4th and Race Streets with a total of 40 condos - a few being commercial space. Entrance to the condo building is on 4th Street and Old City place is an elevator building. Some fantastic deals can be had here IF you find one in original condition. Many condos at 205-9 N. 4th St. have beamed ceilings and retain a great deal of original detailing and flavor. Rental parking around the corner and condo fees are reasonable. Old City place is located in the 19106 section of Old City. I have a ton of experience selling in the building and think these condos represent a strong value.
