I remember when the parcel was a derelict gas station (back in the late 1980's) as I used to live across the street at Bridgeview Place Condos back in the day. York Square was one of the first buildings to hit the market in the mid 2000's - and sold out at a relatively fast pace. We have sold probably a half dozen units in the building over the years and I think the design has held up well- A modern twist on urban residential condominium living. A total of 61 condos were built and first occupied in 2006 and approximately one third of the units have parking (per public records). York Square condos is a doorman building and has a small-ish gym. Most of the top floor condos on the penthouse level are two story bi-level units. I think York Square is best known for the number of condos in the building with balconies. Common areas are modern and kept nicely and the building is pet friendly which is great due to the large community open areas that surround the building. All ceilings in every condo is cement- and some original buyers opted to have those ceilings painted. You will find exposed ductwork and conduit running on the ceiling. Developer had some complaints from what I am told about the noise level of the individual HVAC units which are just off the kitchen. Remedied well via a baffle which helps control noise. Modern kitchen and baths in every condo and floor to ceiling windows are prevalent throughout.
A great option for the 19106 area in terms of well priced modern condos with parking!!
