Rivers Edge Condos are located on the corner of 23rd and Cherry Streets, just a short walk from all the attractions of Center City Philadelphia on the banks of the Schuylkill River- Including 30th Street station and the University of Pennsylvania. If you were to buy one of these condos in Philadelphia, you would be nearby the high-rise office complexes of Market Street West- the high rise office district! Sitting in the 19103 zip code area, 2301 Cherry (Rivers Edge condos) has an on-site garage and for the exercise enthusiasts, you're steps away from the just completed Schuylkill River Park that has a lovely walking and biking trail that leads to Fairmount Park. Almost all Rivers Edge unit have parking, and there is a wonderful rooftop deck that is common for all condo buyers at 2301. This particular piece of Philadelphia real estate offers great views on some of the higher floors! Rivers Edge condos are considered by many to be a great Philly condo buy!

Rivers Edge Condos at 2301 Cherry St - My Experience and Two Cents
One of my favorite buildings in 19103. Every unit has parking and most have stunning views. With a total of 97 units, the condos at 2301 Cherry St. range in size from 1087 sq ft for a one bedroom to 2420 sq ft for a three bedroom condo. Full time doorman and a stunning common roof deck with unmatched views. Built and first occupied in 1982, Rivers Edge condos are composed of townhouse styled condos (2 and 3 story units) and sitting adjacent you have the high rise portion of the complex in which all units are "half leveled".... meaning I have never seen a unit in the building that didn't have at least a half flight of stairs. Most of the Rivers Edge units have balconies that either afford a city or river view. Front desk staff is friendly... almost always.
Rivers Edge has recently implemented some serious assessments which has brought about renewed interest and improvements to these condos in 19103. When I show the building, which is often- My buyers usually comment on the fact that they believe the building needs work in terms of cosmetic improvements, as well as such things as windows, lobby, and exterior work. I don't disagree- but the fact is that the condo owners have ban together and have decided to implement assessments to address issues in the building that are due for improvement. I think that is huge- you have an association who is willing to spend money to up the values of the condos in the years to come. Condo buildings are like cars, clothes and airplanes- they need to be constantly upgraded and kept in good condition to retain value...and that is exactly what 2301 is doing- spending the time and money to retain value over the long run. BRAVO! Here is what else is cool- There is no way in hell you are going to find this kind of space, with these views and parking in 19103 at these prices. Come on folks....you have to know that value retention and resale ability is going to really show itself at 2301 over the next decade or so, I believe.
I have sold approximately a half dozen condos at 2301 Cherry St. and I think the values for these condos in this location with parking simply can not be beat. BUY BUY BUY!
(If you look over my entire 1700 pages of my website- I have never made such a strong push for any building...this one is a winner in my book!)
