The Aria was an office building when built and sits on the northeast corner of 15th and Spruce Streets. Some folks refer to the address at 225 S. 15th, though generally recognized as 1425 Locust Street. The condominiums at the Aria have no parking- but there are no less than four large garages that can be rented within a block of 1425 Locust St. The Aria condos are divided into three "parts" (of the ONE building)...and all three parts offer various floor plans. The penthouse units are kinda' groovy because they cover the entire top floors and give 360-degree views...they are like ranch houses in the sky- very cool indeed. The Aria amenities include a pool table/conference room, dog spa, and small gym- THOUGH the Sporting Club at the Bellevue is on the block- So you would probably want to join that gym perhaps.

WHAT FEW KNOW ABOUT THE ARIA CONDOS... While being converted to condos in the mid to early 2000s, a chunk of the facade fell and crashed through the neighboring building. Lawsuits encumbered the building (I was the expert witness in the case), and that incident mired the building in some early trouble in terms of selling the units off. Those items have been addressed, and they had structural engineers inspect every inch of the entire façade. After half the condos at the Aria were sold, the developer lost control of the building, and the bank took it back- then sold it to a local developer. The developer cut prices and sold the remaining condos at 1425 Locust St.

Five Fast Facts about The Aria Condominiums:
1) The building was an office building when built (The Lewis Tower) 1419-25 Locust St.
2) Units didn't sell too well when first offered- new price structure helped The Aria sell
3) The Penthouse units are above the 30th floor and have 360 Degree views
4) The building houses a guest suite and a pet spa- very rare indeed
5) The Aria is one of my favorite buildings in town.
