You’ll likely get a lot for your money at 1100 Vine in terms of size of the units- most buyers impressed with that fact. Med students seem to flock to the 550 sq ft one-bedroom units. Doorman building. 1100 Vine was smart in deciding to limit the number of rentals in the building- somewhere around 25% max. Keeps the building “easy to finance.” Hallways a bit neutral- and washer/dryers are common and in the hallways (coin-op)- but can be installed inside units at the owner’s expense. Basement storage.

Before being converted to condos back in the early 2000s, The GrandeView was an extended stay hotel. You may get a sense of that as you enter the building and see some of the common spaces. 1100 Vine st. Condos were one of the first (and smartest) to incorporate a limit on the number of rentals in the building, keeping Fannie Mae happy and allowing the condos to be easily financed. I have probably sold about a dozen condos at 1100 Vine over the years- A fairly easy sell based upon location and pricing structure. 1100 Vine St. offer either east or west views- and some units have south views. Washers and dryers at GrandeView condos are located in the hallways and are coin-operated. 24-hour doorman...no parking on site, but plenty of inexpensive rental lots nearby. Oh, and there is a police station right outside the entrance to 1100 Vine St. Good proximity to Jefferson Medical doesn’t hurt.
There is an abundance of smaller 550 +/- sq ft sized one-bedrooms that seems to turn over quite regularly, and I believe to be a very solid investment. Front desk staff are always pleasant, and the 2nd floor makes up the gym and some very very large conference/community areas.
