2 Cents All buyers agree- Best lobby in town 🙂 Stunning pre-war condo that has a limited number of units. Grade A service from staff- sits directly on the south side of Rittenhouse Sq. Known for being a quiet building. Trash removed daily via porter and 1900 has storage in the basement for all units. I used to live in the building (4C)- a prestigious building, in my opinion. Most would agree. 1900 is known for its understated elegance. Not flashy- but very nice.

We once owned and lived in a condo here at 1900 Rittenhouse Square. The building is nothing short of a real Philadelphia gem. A total of 42 units in this pre-war building and was of the first to be built on Rittenhouse Square. 1900 retains a good deal of such detailing in the lobby- which is probably the BEST looking lobby in all of Philadelphia-oval shaped and the essence of a boutique styled pre-war. There is a maximum of three units per floor- though most have just two units per floor- one that faces the Square and one that faces south. A dear old Realtor friend once told me that 1900 was a ramshackle hell hole of an apartment building until it was thoughtfully updated and turned into condos. I believe that to be true. Today the building has limited availability, and units tend to sell very quickly- REGARDLESS of market conditions. No parking- but many options nearby. 1900 Rittenhouse is indeed pet friendly, and some of the Doormen have been around for nearly 30 years.
