Housing a total of 78 condos, the Bella Vista Lofts have some groovy layouts and finishes. Completed in 2006, 1101 Washington Ave. is known for tremendous ceiling heights, oversized windows, and for having some unusual and unique “Pods” on the roof- condos that were pre-fab modular units that were (I would guess) airlifted onto the roof.
These units are like no others in all of Philadelphia and command a reasonable sale price- very modern hip living with generous (and from what I hear, windy) rooftop terraces. Under the pods, but above all, other condos at Bella Vista lofts are the Penthouse units- which are oversized condos with room to roam- some up to and just over 2500 sq ft. 1101 Washington Ave. sits on the south side of Bella Vista, and almost every unit includes parking. 24-hour doorman, gym, and conference rooms. I think these “soft loft” condos add something to the Philadelphia condo market that is unique- affordable open lofty spaces.
